French Toast Casserole
Ingredients

1 loaf sourdough or brioche bread

8-9 eggs
-
2 cups milk (protein fortified optional)

1/2 cup heavy cream
-
1 tbsp vanilla extract
-
3/4 cup Tap That Maple Sugar
Topping
-
1/2 cup all purpose flour
-
1/2 cup Tap That Maple Sugar
-
1 tsp cinnamon
-
1/4 tsp salt
-
1/2 cup cold unsalted butter
Instructions

Cut bread into 1-inch cubes and place in a 9 X 13 inch baking dish.

In a bowl mix eggs, milk, cream, vanilla and sugar. Pour evenly over bread.

Cover the dish and let refrigerate for 4 hours.

To make topping combined flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt in a bowl. Cut in cold butter.

Unwrap baking dish and sprinkle topping over bread.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
